Win2k is not very friendly about dynamic configuration changes. I get the darn thing home and it’s a no go. Do you have any ideas? I downloaded the driver and installed it. Win2k is a funny beast tho when you pull out things from device manager. If applicable, Install the most current VIA 4-in-1 driver. Formatted the drive and reinstalled xp and all the latest drivers including via 4in1.

Hello Justintime I did install the drivers off the MSI mobo cd and windows said it wasn’t a signed driver, blah I’ve downloaded the newest Epson drivers for XP and no luck. But why can’t I get this new printer to work? Altho reading the section on the pc to pc networking thru usb, it appears that they do load a driver for it, in a package they called Genie link pc to pc software setup in the last volume of the manual. I downloaded and loaded the 4in1 drivers and rebooted, but that didn’t solve the problem. They switched it to a 10 foot and it worked. You could also check the msi website for updated usb drivers. Usually this is not part of the 4 in 1 drivers, but is in the usb section or in the chipset driver that comes with many motherboards.
Usually the usb host to host bridge is part of the usb component of the mobo. So now all the yellow exclamation marks are out of my Device Manager.

I know I can’t get connections to the internet or to or from this box on my network. I’ve gone into Device Manager and it’s located under the heading: I’ve downloaded the me6321 drivers for the Epson Stylus C42 but that doesn’t work either. Oh and Darcy would love it if you can provide a diagram of the LAN: Xp finds the printer, installs the drivers hhost when I try to print a test page I always get an error message telling me to make sure the printer is plugged and turned on.
Seems this is an older board as I had to find the manuals in the archives. This link has the latest drivers for that, it may or may not fix your machine: I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it.
