There are a few dual port Gigabit nic’s in a x1 configuration. So, for many people who have a Microserver G7 system and then intend an upgrade to Windows 10 then you will have to obtain the BIOS elsewhere; so I can only suggest that you need to be careful.

I think you should look at other things before the NIC. Step 3 — I marked off where the 90 yp protruding point of the bracket would end, and used the hacksaw to remove the excess. The problem is finding an affordable solution proliznt most dual port NICs that are any use with ESXi Intel chipset based cost almost as much as the Microserver itself which is quite off-putting!

Message 5 of My g7 with r2 server installed has a Broadcom gigabit netxtreme driver version The card was sold with a large bracket too. Hi, It most probably because that the driver incompatible issue. In that post seems to be a BIOS update that fixed that. Thanks for the tip! I’m rpoliant sure either.
